A little history about Wildwood Studios...
After graduating high school I attended Central Michigan University where I received an art degree.
Through a series of adventures, I landed in San Francisco, California far from my Michigan home. In the early years I focused primarily on jewelry and lighting. I survived about 2 years in the San Francisco area before finding my way back to my home state of Michigan. I spent a few years in Michigan pursuing the art fair scene before shifting my creativity toward woodworking and signage. I began as Stepladder Studios in approximately 1995.
I got married and settled down in the quaint village of Blanchard, Michigan. Shortly after, I bought a building in town and set up shop. I have been working and evolving from that location for almost 12 years now. Once in Blanchard I began focusing on the taxidermy business, I have created and designed animal bases, furniture, booths, signage and much, much more.
Through the years I have been blessed with work and opportunity. I have fine tuned my art and skill. I feel my design abilities are top quality and I have only been complimented when others in the industry have chosen to copy or mimic what I do. Because every day is a new day with new opportunity to push the limits and put my creative juices to work. And I look forward to working for you.
If you are looking for small town personal service with up town class, give me a call.
